DISCIPLINE

Our first goal is to teach children appropriate behavior.  Every enforcement we use is positive. We do this by role-modeling and having clear expectations.  When a child misbehaves, our discipline techniques include redirection, logical consequences, and time-out.  This method of removing the child from the group helps them to calm down and change  their inappropriate behavior.  If a “time out” is unsuccessful a note will be sent home.  If inappropriate behavior continues, a meeting is held between the Director and the parent.
